By the third night, the Kumbal Perahera has visibly expanded in scale, with larger crowds, more elephants, and an even more dazzling display of traditional performances. The processional route, once more intimate, now feels broader and more energetic, as the number of performers and devotees grows significantly.The fire dancers, now in greater numbers, create a mesmerizing spectacle, twirling flames in intricate patterns. The Ves dancers, clad in their shimmering silver costumes, perform with heightened vigor, their movements synchronized with the hypnotic drumbeats. The whip-crackers, maintaining their role as heralds of the procession, crack their whips in faster, more elaborate patterns, marking the intensification of the event.
A notable addition on the third night is the introduction of more elaborately adorned elephants, a sign of the gradual transition from the Kumbal Perahera to the grand Randoli Perahera.
