Colombo to Ella: Begin your adventure with a picturesque train ride from Colombo to Ella. As the train winds through the hill country, marvel at stunning panoramas of misty mountains, lush tea plantations, and quaint villages. Ravana Waterfall and Nine Arch Bridge: Arrive in Ella and start exploring its iconic landmarks. Visit Ravana Waterfall, a dramatic cascade with scenic viewpoints and a rich mythological connection to Sri Lanka’s ancient tales. Later, head to the Nine Arch Bridge, an engineering marvel surrounded by lush forests and tea plantations. Walk along the bridge, often visited by local trains, and take in the charming, serene ambiance of this beloved spot.
Return from Ella to Colombo: Conclude your journey with another train ride back to Colombo, where you can sit back, relax, and take in the beautiful landscapes once more. Day 1 :

Colombo Fort to Ella

Pick you up from the hotel early in the morning. Leave for Railway Station in Colombo Fort. The train leaves Colombo Fort Railway Station to Badulla. Meals/refreshments served on board. When you arrive at Ella Railway Station, pick you up & transfer to your hotel in Ella.

Check-in at the hotel and Leisure at the hotel.

Hotel Option: Dinner and overnight stay at Dowa Elegance Hotel or Similar.

Day 2 :

Ella Ravana Falls - Nine Arch Stone Bridge - Ella Rock (B, D)

After breakfast at the hotel. Full day at leisure or excursions arranged to visit the Ravana Falls. Ella is blessed with some of the most beautiful views you could find in Sri Lanka. Only 8 km from Bandarawela, this small town is used as a base for plenty of trekking expeditions to the surrounding countryside. A taste of the breathtaking scenery of Ella could be had, if you just walk into the Garden of the Grand Ella Motel (Formerly Ella Rest House), where you seem to be standing at the edge of the world, and everything around you seems to disappear at your feet.

Dunhinda Falls, Demodara Railway Station, Nine Arch Stone Bridge, and also Ella Rock. By the end of the day take you to the hotel.

Day 3 :

Ella to Colombo

After breakfast check out from the hotel. Proceed to Ella Railway Station for the return journey. The train leaves Ella Railway Station to Colombo. Meals/refreshments served on board. When you arrive at Fort Railway Station. Pick you up & transfer to your hotel in Colombo.
