Enjoy an incredible cycle safari across Sri Lanka, riding along ancient trade paths and through stunning tea plantations, lush jungle and valleys as well as along the coast, beside reservoirs and through spice plantations enveloped by palms and paddy fields. Upon your arrival at Bandaranayke International Airport in Katunayake, you will be met by one of the representatives and taken to the hotel in Sigiriya. Relax in the hotel and you will be ready to start cycling safari in the morning.
Enjoy your savory breakfast. You will have an opportunity to begin your first safari in Hiriwadunna village. You will ride between 05 – 10 km around the village with a chance to explore lush paddy fields, water reserves and meet local village people. Complete the magnificent safari then you will visit Sigiriya Lion Rock. In the evening you will come back to the hotel and remind yourself of today’s safari.
Today you will have a visit to the old ancient city of Polonnaruwa, exploring ruins and monasteries in the ancient city. Pick up at the hotel to Polonnaruwa then you will start your cycling safari which is between 5 to 10kms. A chance to observe Sri Lanka’s history before returning to the hotel.
Your last breakfast in Sigiriya, check out of the hotel, pack your belongings and transfer before midday from Sigiriya. Today you will have another incredible cycling safari at Kalundawa village in Dambulla. You will start to ride your safari in Dambulla with the opportunity to explore the beauty of the village followed by a drink at King Coconut. Afterwards you will visit the Dambulla Cave temple. In the evening you arrive in Kandy.
Enjoy some breakfast and then start another graceful cycle safari along the Mahaweli River. You will ride 7 km and see the splendor of the Mahaweli River. You will stop at Bahairawakande temple premises where there is a long dress code before entering the temple. Later you will come back to the hotel for your lunch and refresh. In the evening we visit the Temple of Tooth Relic and participate in a ceremony time in the temple. Later you will be able to take in the night view in Kandy city.
Breakfast at the hotel’s main restaurant. Today you will be able to enjoy the world-famous beautiful train ride from Kandy to Ella. Depart to Kandy station and your chauffeur will proceed to the Ella railway station in advance and await your arrival then you will proceed to the hotel. Enjoy a cup of tea and a reminder of the beautiful train ride in Sri Lanka.
After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to start another amazing cycle safari from Ella. You will visit Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arch Bridges. Your cycle safari will continue for 9 km, crossing the lush tea plantations and splendor of waterfalls. Later you will come back to the hotel.
You have some breakfast, then transfer to Thissamaharama for another exiting cycle safari. Upon arrival at the hotel in Thissamaharama, check in, relax for a few hours then you will begin your cycle safari time. Today you ride 12 km through the villages and seeing magnificent scenery around the village. Afterward, you will come back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight.
Wake up early and make your way into famous Yala National Park for a full day. You will have a packed breakfast and lunch during the safari. You will be able to search for elephants, leopards and sloth bears. Afterwards you will return to the hotel for overnight.
After breakfast, you head to another destination, Bentota. Check in to the hotel and you are ready for the beach cycling safari. You ride 13 km on this safari and you visit the turtle hatchery to see the turtles. Afterward, you will be back to the hotel for relaxation.
Breakfast at the main restaurant, before heading off today to Negombo. Check out from the hotel and visit Gall Dutch Fortress for another incredible safari. Afterwards continue your journey to Negombo where you check in to your hotel.
Today is your final safari day in Sri Lanka. Have some breakfast then start the cycling safari from the hotel. You will see Negombo Fish Market and Lagoon. Spend the evening at leisure on the beach or pool.
Breakfast at the hotel thn depending on your departure flight, leave Galle and transfer to the airport for departure.
